How does it work?

Topical and oral treatments are often prescribed by dermatologists for severe or persistent acne. They work well, but their effect on the sebaceous glands reduces sebum production, causing the skin to become very dry with chapped lips, peeling, redness and itching.

Skin is moisturised thanks to a high concentration of very well tolerated dermatological active ingredients:

• 5% niacinamide: soothes and relieves irritation, heat and itching. Helps reduce brown and red marks.

 • Ceramides: restore the skin’s protective barrier. Provide immediate and long-lasting hydration and reduce skin dryness, redness and flaking/peeling.

 • Prebiotic sugar: derived from Ophiopogon japonicus (mondo grass), it soothes, restores the weakened skin barrier, hydrates the skin and maintains the skin’s microbiota. It also reduces itching.

 • Hyaluronic acid: helps repair skin weakened by treatments and protects it from drying out.

Directions for use

Apply morning and/or evening to skin after cleansing with SEBIACLEAR Crème Lavante.

It’s important to follow a suitable skincare routine while on acne treatment. Avoid scrubs or peels that could further weaken the epidermis. Use hydrating, repairing products that will strengthen and soothe the skin barrier.
