How does it work?

Allergy-prone skin has an impaired barrier function, making it easier for environmental aggressors (mites, pollution, etc.) to penetrate. These cause and aggravate irritation and itching. It’s easy to understand how skin can react to unsuitable products or changes in the weather. Still, the harmful effects of other aggressors such as mites and pollution are less noticeable. 

- Mites feed on dead skin on the skin’s surface, which damages the barrier function. This makes skin more permeable to environmental aggressors and aggravates irritation. 

- The impaired barrier function also allows pollution, especially fine particles, to penetrate the skin, which worsens or triggers irritations. (7)

=> The skin therefore needs protection to help it repair itself more quickly and with lasting results.
